A Message to Panda

Pandalin is my sister. The one who is taller than me and works in a land where everything is fast paced. Ever since she started working, I lose a housemate, a best friend and most importantly, a shopping buddy T_T

But fear not, even though she is far far away, I still MSN her all the time. We sisters chat every single day. I Skype Bobo almost everyday. So, to me, Japan isn't that far, hahaha...

However, when Pandalin switched to her second company, things changed slightly. Unlucky for her, the other designer left while she started.

How crap is that. Poor panda...

There are two types of workaholic: 1) No choice 2) It's in their blood
I suspect, that Pandalin is Number 2, cause she says she liked it. *pengsan

But of course, it's your life. You decide how you want it to be. People around you (like us! haha) will constantly tell you how unworthy your efforts can be and no one will understand why you will go back to the office on a Sunday while you're out with friends (oops, that's us again~ haha).

I used to put in loads of efforts at work. I work and contributed more than I should have. But, when your company doesn't return you any appreciation (i.e. owing your increment for 1 year+ and ended with nothing, so far), then, you slow down. I think, when you are fresh, it's a good attitude to contribute more than you should. But after years of working, and you see yourself going no where (as promised~), then, that is stupid.

money to feed myself. fixed working hours so I am free for my personal projects after work.

that's how you stay happy even though your job is not taking you anywhere)


Never work for free for your company. That's one thing, so true, that I've learnt from my work place. Your bosses will be constantly thinking of the most economic way to protect his/their company's benefits. We are all small potatoes.

Yet again, nothing is perfect in this world. You will still go to work on Sundays. You will still work till 6am once "a while". When it's a small company with insufficient head counts, there's really nothing much that you can do except taking orders because you are obligated to get your work done (even though that's 3-person's job =.= )


Do find a way to live your life, Pandalin. I really hope you wished your boss hire another designer, before you blew the candle out...


oh ya, and of course, wish for a boyfriend, too! :p

When your friends get married...

Of course, I was pretty excited as this is the first (and I guess the only :p) engagement ceremony that I will ever attend hahaha...

You can't get a better date than that. Set the auspiciousness aside, it's indeed a very pretty date to be remembered! Definitely one of the best dates (remaining) in this century =.= So if you are planning to have a lovely date stamped on your marriage cert, your last chance will be 121212, muahaahaha...

Which means, I have only less than 3 years for my man hunt~! Given my situation right now, I am without a doubt not moving in the right direction @_@

Ok, don't panic. I still have time.

All I need is some motivation...

and a WISH LIST ~ ^_^


1) MUST be taller than me.
I am only 164cm. But, I like high heels. A lot. My high heels range from 3 inches to 4 1/2 inches. Which means, you need to be at least 164cm + 3inch = 171.62cm. However, I don't want to be looking at you at eye level when I am wearing my shoes. Hence, adding another 5cm so that I can look up to you instead (hahaha.. weird but I think it's more romantic this way). So, 175cm++.

*exceptional case: if I really really super like you, then you can probably be 171cm. I will wear flats for you. But with a condition: You cannot strike the following DON'Ts


2) BEAUTY is in the eyes of the beholder
This means decent looking. I know, when people are in love, their partners are always the prettiest or the most handsome ones. That's why, for this part, I will be getting my friend's opinion and you will be evaluated from there. Don't worry, I am only looking for decent-looking ones. As long as you don't look like a chimpanzee, then you are OK.

* Don't ask why you need to be evaluated. It's all because I had bad taste in the past, that's why my friends (actuallly, it's you, zhen yi) insisted that I need them to help me. I agree.

3) BODY SHAPE will change through time
But, right now, at this moment, you better not be a size 16. You cannot be a stick-thin size 8 as well. That's my size. If you can't carry me when I pass out in the park, or on our weding night, I think that's a problem. hahaha...

*OK, I am not discriminating against chubby people. It's really just a matter of personal preferences ok... So, Min Loong, if you are reading, I still like you as a friend, very much ^_^ !


4) HUMOUR is what makes people happy
And when you are happy, you stay young at heart (and it will show on you face, then you will look young too!) You don't have to be a joker, but you should be capable of making me laugh (which is quite easy because I laugh at anything >_< style="font-style: italic;">* Repeat: I HATE those egoist.


5) NOTHERN MALAYSIAN guys is a 100% no no
I am sorry. I am discriminating again. But, honestly, I think my personality and attitude doesn't match their northern upbringing and mindset. Been there, doesn't work at all.

*This is not only a statement from me but from quite some bunch of friends, too. Oh ya, if you are from the north but grew up in southern part or the rest of the world, then that is ok ;-)


6) MONEY is not everything
Now, don't try to think that driving a BMW or Merc on our date will score you extra points. Been there, too. Doesn't work. I hate people that boast about their capability on earning millions and thinks that he's a know-it-all. You are too far away from me. I will not understand you and vice versa.

*However, it doesn't mean that I will like you if you are broke. And what makes it worst is you end up using my money instead without returning it. I will curse you. Belive me, I will.


7) CAREER is important
and so is me. hahahaa. I do not believe in "Sorry but I need to focus on my career". We are human beings. We have a brain. We were designed to withstand all sort of hardships and still made it through. We are capable of adapting to changes and face challenges. You are not a pig. I do not require all of you time, I just need you to work for a better future, with me in it.


*So girls, if someone says that to you, he's confirmed not in love with you anymore and desperately finding a way out.


8) APPEARANCE matters to me
Call me superficial or anything you want. I have a problem with people who doesn't care about their appearance. You don't have to look like Johnny Depp or Zac Efron, but you need to have some sort of fashion sense. I do not like round neck t-shirts on guys. That is too casual, only usable when you are alone at home where no one is watching. That's why they have Polo-Ts~! Slippers... ok, this one,you either get a really good one (that do not bare you toes wide open!) or you just dont wear it. Yes, you can wear slippers, but with a collared-T and a decent looking hair-do.

*Oh ya, if I say I prefer you on contact lens, then you need to love putting them on even though you need to work 12 hours a day~. hahaha. People~ we need to sacrifice for beauty, don't we?


9) AGE
This is a weird requirement. Not a must, but, I really do prefer guys that are my age (which is 26 next month hehehe) yeah, I am not afraid of telling my age. I don't know why some ladies think it's a problem Anyway, I want someone that will grow up with me, and go through difficulties with me. I don't want a dude in his 30s ++ telling me what I should do instead of letting me do what I want, just because he HAS been there. It's my life.

*Guys my age should be putting their career first but I think it's not necessary that you sacrifice your entire family and love life because in the end, there will be no one there to enjoy it with you. Of course, can get younger girls that time and when you're rich, you can get anyone. But anyone, is not the same as the one that went through all with you.


10) I NEED TO LIKE YOU first
hahahaha... clear enough? No elaboration needed.


Anyway, my wish list should be almost the same as most girls out there. I know I am not a beauty or typical gentle girl, hence of course the above will be for "reference" only :p

As for my motto: you like it, you go for it. I know it's a bit bold for girls but hey, it's the 21st century. You can't wait for miracles to happen~!


Especially when you are aiming for 12 12 12 hahahahah.....





ok la, I don't want to get married 12 12 12 lah~~~

I will marry when the right one propose to me. Period.
